Even though the hotel was fairly small, the decor of the rooms, lobby, restaurant, and the ground had a calm, serene, yet hip design. There was a sweet but not overpowering aroma throughout, which I found relaxing. The staff was very helpful and friendly even though some of them had limited English. We were able to leave our luggage in the afternoon after we checked out but still had a little bit of time to explore Santiago. When we got back, a receptionist made multiple calls to get a taxi for us because it was hard to find a taxi on Christmas Day evening. The big windows facing the residential areas and the mountains gave a feel of being semi-outdoors despite the fact that I was chilling in this A/C room when it was in the upper 80s F outside. The long bench by the windows was great for lying down while enjoying the views. The beds were comfy and large.

We are more than happy to choose this hotel for our last days of a 3 week trip in South America. Everything was perfect. The location is a beautiful suburb, safe and peaceful. The hotel itself is fully renovated, rooms and bathrooms feature an excellent warm style. Our room had a beautiful view of the city and the Andes. There are 2 great restaurants in the property and we tested them both. For this quality of hotel and service, I consider this hotel very reasonably priced. Top marks for the stuff, from Patricio at the reception who welcomed us after a long and tiring day traveling, to the stuff in restaurants and cleaning service, they were all great!

This is for a sustainable minded traveler who wants to enjoy the “luxus” of a qell designed hotel with a smaller ecogical footprint. it has everything that a business or leisure traveler might need, spacey comfortable rooms, nice restaurant and bar downstairs and a pool area for relaxing. It is easy to move around Santiago, and the area where it is located has a lot of restaurants and green areas. Shopping Center and Parque Bicentenario are quite close to go by bike or walking.

The Bidasoa is located in a pleasant neighborhood with plenty of shops, restaurants, parks and quiet residential streets. A very walkable area. Breakfast is buffet style, and it would be hard to say what could possibly be missing from the diversity of choices. We loved it. Overall, there is a relaxed atmosphere with a very congenial and helpful staff. We used Ubers and Booking.com taxis for transportation to other parts of the city.

As a vegan, this was the perfect place to stay! The breakfast offers tons of vegan options such as avocado toast, vegan pastries, vegetables, and vegan milk, and the on-site Casa Sanz vegan restaurant is great. The design and decor is quirky and cool, the staff are great, and the room was spacious and clean. The area is super safe, too, with an excellent shopping mall just 15 minutes away on foot.
